Fifth Street Cross

Pennsylvania's Premiere Thursday Night Cyclocross Series

Established in 2005 by Bill and Beth Strickland, this is a Lehigh Valley cycling staple. We acquired the event in 2018 after co-producing it for one year with the then-owner, Andrew Bernstein. During the transition, we rebranded it, created a website, stepped up social media, and added a 5k-ish run called "Fifth Street Cross-Country." We use the project as a way to test ideas for our other events in social media, photography, videography, race formats, and fun activations. The project is a lot of fun but challenging in that it has to maintain a balance between the serious racers at the front and the majority of others who are there for a workout, good times, and a friendly meet-up.
