Fifth Street Rock Monster

MTB XC and Run XC

Established 2022

Fifth Street Rock Monster is a technical trail running and mountain bike weekend held each spring at Forever Farm in Pennsylvania. Formerly known as Rockland Rad Run and Radsport XC, the event has evolved into a two-day, multi-discipline experience that brings runners, riders, and spectators together on a shared course through rolling, rugged terrain.

Saturday features the Fifth Street Rock Monster Mountain Bike Races, with shared amenities, spectating opportunities, and post-race course access for runners looking to scout the terrain. This is a Mid-Atlantic Super Series event with category racing offered from beginner to elite racers. Free on-site camping allows participants to stay on property and fully immerse themselves in the weekend. The run takes place on Sunday and features multiple distance options, allowing participants to choose their effort while navigating a course defined by rocks, roots, elevation changes, and narrow singletrack. Designed to reward skill and patience as much as fitness, the route highlights the natural character of the property and offers a challenging but engaging experience for trail runners of all levels.

Rock Monster is intentionally produced as a full weekend experience.

Beyond competition, Rock Monster emphasizes community and hospitality. Post-race festivities include food, drinks, and live music in the woods, with runners receiving a complimentary meal and drink. Junior participation is actively encouraged through reduced entry fees, supporting early engagement in trail running.

Now entering its fourth year in 2027, Fifth Street Rock Monster reflects Fifth Street’s approach to event production: technically interesting courses, thoughtful scheduling across disciplines, and a focus on creating repeatable, community-driven experiences that grow through word of mouth rather than heavy promotion.
